Children’s Haven of Southwest Missouri, Joplin provides physical and emotional refuge for children whose families are experiencing a crisis. Services are provided 24 hours a day/seven days a week and are available free of charge to any family in southwest Missouri with children between 0 and 17 years old. In addition to providing temporary crisis care to children and youth in a safe setting, parents are provided information on community resources to help them resolve their crisis.
